About Us

The Log House Museum and Annex is maintained and operated by the Historical Society of Columbiana and Fairfield Township. The Log House was moved to its current location on the square in Columbiana in 1975 and is furnished to represent the early houses in Columbiana. An annex was added in 1978.

Displays include Columbiana memorabilia, a Harvey S. Firestone collection, dolls, a Victorian parlor setting,10,000-year-old mastodon bones uncovered on the Firestone Farm, and uniforms from World War I and II and the Civil War.

The lower level of the annex houses genealogical and historical records. These records are available by visiting the museum or by mail.
